Breathe new life into your 100W Marshall JCM2000 amp!

This PCB assembly replaces the factory ones with known conductivity issues.

PCB conductivity issues can be confirmed using the method illustrated here:
Demonstration Of Marshall JCM2000 Conductive PCB Issues

These replacement PCB's have many advantages over the factory PCBs:

  • Isolation slots between critical pins on the EL34 sockets to prevent any breakdown or drift:
  • Optimised trace layout, eliminating oscillation and arising from insufficient margin on high voltage areas.
  • Double sided, through-plated holes, 2oz. copper.
  • Heavy-duty wide fill-zone heater supply lines, closely matched on each side of PCB for maximum hum rejection.
  • Fusible artificial heater centertap resistors.
  • Yageo 1/2W carbon film, 1W/2W metal film resistors.
  • Vishay lightweight wirewound resistors.
  • Genuine Belton valve sockets.
  • Genuine JST EH-series connector headers.
  • Nichicon, Nippon Chemi-con, Panasonic & Jamicon electrolytic capacitors (min. 105°c rating, long life).
  • Vishay Cera-Mite ceramic capacitors.
  • Wima & Panasonic film capacitors.
  • Flyback diodes for protection of output stage and transformers in the event of accidental operation without load.
  • More clearance between heat sensitive and head generating components for longer life and better airflow.

Installation documentation available upon request.

BEFORE PURCHASING, PLEASE NOTE:

  • These PCB's are to be installed by qualified experienced technicians only.
  • Dangerous, potentially lethal voltages may be present. Do not attempt to disassemble amplifier unless qualified and experienced.
  • No support can be offered other than the required documentation and connector map.
  • It is likely that the existing set of EL34's may be damaged and defective if issues with PCB conductivity were experienced with the factory PCB. It is advised to factor in a new matched set or at least testing of the existing valves before attempting to replace the PCB.
  • Other components in the amplifier may have sustained damage caused by the issues arising from the conductivity of the original PCB. Ensure proper and adequate testing of the entire unit before attempting to replace the PCB.
  • DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES REPLACE ANY FUSES WITH A HIGHER CURRNET RATING IN YOUR EQUIPMENT!
  • The cost, appearance, finish and design of these PCBs are subject to change without notice due to component and manufacturer availability, supply chain issues, design improvements etc.
